We welcome new players of all ability levels,both boys and girls, including those new to rugby and those looking to join teams that are competitive at the higher levels of the Surrey rugby leagues. We have around 700 youth players from Under 5s to Colts (under 18), with multiple teams for all playing levels at most age groups including a growing and successful girls section (currently to U16s).
To join, please download the app <<360Player>> from an app store. You will be prompted to enter a group code, which is B8B9J9, and to create your account. You will then see the youth registration forms. For any queries please contact us.
Membership Subscriptions cover the full 2026/27 season through to mid April 2027 and include match / festival entry fees, post match food when provided, access to the Return2Play concussion management service (U9+), as well as family membership of Barnes RFC, with parents becoming social members and also entitling player and one parent per player to free access to watch Barnes 1st XV home matches. If two or more children join, family discounts are available on subs.
For those new to Rugby at Barnes, a free-of-charge tryout membership valid for 3 training sessions is available.
Full season membership costs £200 for boys in age groups U7 to Colts, or £100 for U5 and U6. For girls from U7- U10 it is £100, and £130 for U12-U16. A discount of 17% applies to each child if there are two in your family playing at Barnes, or more with a third, at U7+. Subs are reduced in steps through the season for mid-season starters, starting late Novermber. Subs can be paid in instalments if you like, albeit at slightly higehr cost.
The Club runs a financial assistance scheme to help with subs where membership would otherwise not be possible for reasons of cost. We sponsor a number of players each year to train, play and even tour with Barnes RFC, so they can experience rugby and benefit from the life-long skills and discipline that it teaches.
